Rainbow Classic Baby Blanket

I crocheted a blanket using JoAnn brand Rainbow Classic yarn. The yarn is so thick that I used an M hook to crochet this blanket. The blanket is made using a "traditional" ripple stitch and only took a couple hours to make (a whole morning). Although this is not a short amount of time, that is pretty quick to make a baby blanket. The only thing is that the blanket is approximately 29 x 32 inches.

Diagonal Baby Blanket

I finally finished making the diagonal baby blanket. It was made using Baby Coordinates Sweet Stripes. It came out a little smaller than I'd hoped, 27 inches as opposed to 32 inches. I also ran out of yarn at the end so I used a skein of white yarn. I don't think it's really noticeable.

Heart Blanket

One year ago I made a beautiful heart blanket. The blanket is made by stitching together hundreds of about two inch granny squares. It didn't take very long to make each individual granny square, but it was tiring after a while to have to make and store so many little squares. In addition, at the end, I had to stitch together all the squares to create the blanket. The result was a truly beautiful blanket which made it worth all the hard work.

Heart Mesh Filet Blanket

I FINALLY finished crocheting the pink mesh filet baby blanket. I don't remember how long I have been working on it, but it has been a long time. I was really only working on it on/off for a while. It wasn't hard to make, I just didn't want to work on the border for it. The border is full of ruffles. It makes it extremely pretty, but not fun to work on.

Since I did not want to buy ribbon and it was hard to thread last time anyway, I use a "line" of single crochet instead this time. I still think it came out nicely. I'm glad that I was FINALLY able to finish it. I'm sure that I will probably make another one at a later point in time since it is quite pretty, and not hard to make at all. I just won't be making another one any time soon.
