Burgundy Crochet Square 3

This square was also made using Red Heart Soft. I used my favorite "traditional" shell stitch for this one. The pattern is 2 dc, ch 2, 1 sc all in the ch space of the row below.

Burgundy Crochet Square 2

I crocheted a square using Red Heart Soft yarn. I've always wanted to make a blanket using this pattern. It looks a lot better when there are multiple squares because the the diagonal pattern is more obvious.

Burgundy Crochet Square 1

I crocheted a square using a shell pattern. The pattern turns out really pretty, but the shells are not that big, so it takes up a lot of yarn. Additionally, the stitch is very tight.

Harry Potter Scarf 1 Part 3

I finally finished crocheting the Harry Potter Gryffindor scarf. It is 6 inches wide and about 70 inches long. There are 10 rows of burgundy followed by a row of sunflower, 2 rows of burgundy and one row of sunflower. There are 10 "sets" of 10 rows of burgundy. Worsted weight yarn and a J hook were used to make this item. With every color change, I left about 2 inches of yarn that I later weaved in to the scarf.

I finished crocheting the Burgundy, Beige, Green and Blue scarf today. It isn't as bad as I thought the colors would turn out.

Heart Blanket

One year ago I made a beautiful heart blanket. The blanket is made by stitching together hundreds of about two inch granny squares. It didn't take very long to make each individual granny square, but it was tiring after a while to have to make and store so many little squares. In addition, at the end, I had to stitch together all the squares to create the blanket. The result was a truly beautiful blanket which made it worth all the hard work.
