Head Scarf

I found a pattern to make a head scarf. It came out much bigger than I had expected from looking at the picture, even after I checked to make sure that I had the gauge right. I want to make the pattern again, but with less rows.

Yellow and White Ripple Blanket

I finished crocheting a yellow and white ripple baby blanket. It is rather wide and not as long. It had seven waves instead of the usual six. Also, there were only 4 ripples rather than the usual five. I might add another length of ripple to it.

Slanty Scarf

I knitted a scarf from a pattern that I found online using Red Heart variegated yarn that was shades of blue. It looks much better up close.

Pilgrims of Rayne by D. J. MacHale

Although it's been a while since I read the last book in this series, I was still able to get back into the story. The author didn't go back over the past stories the beginning like he has done in previous novels, but there were references to the past stories so that I was still able to get back into the story. I had read a part of the beginning of the book before, but I didn't remember what I had read. It took me a while to get back into the story, but it once I did, I found the storyline rather enjoyable.

39 Clues by Rick Riordan

This is a children's book that I saw at the library. The writing is definitely at a children's level, but the overall storyline was decent. There aren't many twists and turns, but after reading it, I want to read the next ones to see what happens next.
