1st to Die by James Patterson

This is the first book in the "Women's Murder Club" series. Inspector Lindsey Boxer, San Francisco Chronicle writer Cindy Thomas, Assisstant DA Jill, and Medical Examiner Claire are all part of the club. They meet periodically to discuss the case and enjoy alcoholic beverages.

This book is quite graphic. Although it is a page turner/action thriller, the victims are brides and grooms who have just gotten married, thus making the book very sad. The ending leaves the question as to who was the actual killer responsible for the murders.

Although I wouldn't call this book magnificent, it is filled with suspense and many twists and turns.

These books really just don't seem to be all that positive for some reason... :)
