The Two Minute Rule by Robert Crais

This is an exciting fast paced book. The title refers to the fact that burglars have two minutes to get in and out of a bank before the police arrive. If they take longer than this, they have a greater chance of getting caught. An ex con who just gets out of jail finds out that his son was killed the night before he is released. There is also some controversy about dirty cops who are stealing money. Overall, this is a suspenseful thriller which is pretty quick to read.
